Who’s That Girl?
Haleigh is an independent progressive country/blues singer and songwriter. Her music swirls together blues, Americana roots, pop/rock vocals and sprinkles of jazzy flare. She is a God-fearing woman from Western Kentucky. She is inspired by artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Tori Kelly, Chris Stapleton, Ashley McBryde and many more. Herbig hair and smile might catch your eye, but it’s her powerful vocals, emotional delivery, and infectious melodies that will leave you wanting more.
Kinda Out of the Blue…
Haleigh was always shy girl, until you put a microphone in front of her. “Mom used to clothes pin a sheet around me. I’d grab my karaoke machine and sing ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ over and over for hours.” After much persistence, Haleigh finally convinced her parents to sign her up for guitar lessons at the age of 8.
Thumbing My Way Through…
Haleigh was leading praise and worship at her church by the time she was 10 years old, slowly breaking out of her shell. She did a few talent shows, local festivals, and auditions here and there, but nothing felt like the right avenue. Once it was time to pin down a degree, Haleigh decided to take her Governor Scholarship and 4.0 GPA to small town University Murray State to begin pursuing her degree in Music Business. Little did she know that during those short 3 years, the opportunities she had at her fingertips would allow her to develop her sound and brand as a country music artist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and headed to Nashville to swoop up a part-time position at iHeartMedia, while also watering her music-making garden in the evenings and on weekends.
Today…
Today, Haleigh lives and works in Nashville, TN, while still traveling every week to perform shows all over the Kentucky, Tennessee, Southern Illinois, Southern Indiana and Missouri areas. Project Manager for a humanitarian non-profit by day, powerful songwriter and boulevard belter by night. Haleigh’s album “Manpower”, released in 2019, was single handedly written by Haleigh. She also co-produced every track and independently recorded, mixed and mastered 8 out of 10 of the tracks. The other two tracks were recorded, mixed and Mastered at Haleigh’s Alma Mater, Murray State. Her most recent and first Nashville-recorded EP, “State of Mine” has already gained nearly 1 million streams and multiple awards and nominations. She is now working on new music and collaborations!
